As much as I adore your songs the sarcasm portion is often the part I find kids are repeating as literal. "Boys will be girls and girls will be boys" Age wise they benefit from consistently clear messages without layered ambiguity https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/08/070803141811.htm If you have the time or are inclined, a children's version of this song would be most welcome and widely shared.
I would be somewhat more cautious in classifying this as a mass psychogenic illness. That classification criteria is actually somewhat more specific than most people think, though it's true the definition has been updated since the days of social media came springing forth.
I think this really is ideology as social-contagion, but beyond the method of replication it is somewhat too complex to condense into a single criteria such as "mass psychogenic illness."
